Artist Review - Christian Music

KPRR - Praise Report  Radio Online interviewed Jordan Riley.  Jordan is not only a performer, he's an evangelist.  Even though the genre of his music is rock, he's better known for his faith in the true ROCK.

KPRR: Do you consider your music to be praise and worship or another genre within Christian music?

Jordan: I consider my music to be Christian rock, but that praises God in ways that typical church going people might not think possible.  I do integrate contemporary praise and worship in every concert that I do around the United States.

KPRR: How long have you been performing Christian music with your band?

Jordan: I have been doing this for about 3 years but I just recently went solo and now have 4 hired musicians who tour with me and work very hard with me.  They have been with me for the past year.

KPRR: Who are the band members?

Jordan: Nate - Drummer, Chris - Lead Guitar, David - Solo Guitar, Brent - Bass.

KPRR: What direction do you want to see your music go?

Jordan: Well I really do like where my music is right now, it talks about life issues and the feelings that we experience everyday.  I want my music to relate to everyday people and yet show them how a life with Jesus can help them over come anything they face.  I do want to see my music reach a broader audience as time goes on.

KPRR: You've done some touring around the U.S.  What was the most inspirational gig that you've played? Why?

Jordan: The most inspirational has to be the concert in Greensboro North Carolina.  I was asked to do a show there, and then after I was able to preach the next day on Sunday morning, and it was amazing how God used me to impact that church, and unknown to me it was broadcast all around the world to over 220 million people.  God works in mysterious ways and he knew what he was doing even when I didn't.  I was able to see first hand that when you lay your talents in the hands of Jesus he can take it anywhere and everywhere.

KPRR: How has God blessed you in your musical endeavors?

Jordan: God has shown me more and more of his MERCY.  It is the theme of my ministry.  I have seen first hand that God's mercy is never ending and new every day.  God has given me increased boldness to share the good news of the gospel.  He has given me incredible opportunities to share with people around the United States.   He has also used my music to reach the hearts of old and young alike and bring hope and life when there was none.

KPRR: Where can people get a hold of your music?

Jordan: Until my first full length album comes out next year you can go to my website www.jordansmusic.com and request a CD.  Also, if you ever need prayer please feel free to email me through the website and my staff and I will be happy to lift you up in prayer.

KPRR: Your heart is obviously in the right place, Jordan.  The staff at Praise Report Radio will continue to lift you up in prayer as you continue to focus your music on the ROCK.  God Bless you.
